Deze Mercedes 500 sec van Agostini AutoJunior is een fantastische ‘halve schaal’ kinderauto. De motor is een viertakt Briggs and Stratton-motor, die ongeveer 3,5 pk produceert en wordt gecombineerd met een automatische transmissie met één snelheid vooruit en achteruit.
Het bedrijf Agostini werd bekend om zijn werkende miniatuurreplica’s van iconische sportwagens, zoals de Porsche 911, Lamborghini Countach en de Ferrari F40.
De auto is gemaakt van een stalen buizenchassis, gekoppeld aan een stevige carrosserie van glasvezel. Er is een werkende besturing, een dummy instrumentendashboard en schijfremmen. De geschatte afmetingen zijn 230 cm (lengte) bij 100 cm (breedte) bij 70 cm (hoogte). Hij weegt ongeveer 90 kg.
